PRIVACYPOLICY.
The short version: this site asks for one thing, your email, and only when you choose to give it. No tracking pixels, no ad cookies, no selling your data. The long version follows. Effective August 20, 2026.
WHO WE ARE
Hexareel Studios is a video production and brand storytelling studio operated from India, with studios in Pune and Mumbai and a presence in Dubai. For data protection purposes, the data controller (called a Data Fiduciary under Indian law) is Hexareel Studios, Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Reach us at services@hexareelstudios.com.
WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY
The Brief on our contact page. If your enquiry falls below our current production calendar's threshold, we ask for your email address so we can write to you when the calendar opens. That email, along with the three choices you tapped (service, city, budget range), is the only personal data this website collects. We use it for exactly one purpose: replying to you about your project.
What you send us directly. If you email, WhatsApp or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share: your name, contact details and anything about your business. We use it to handle your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the project.
What we don't do. No analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no profiling, no cookies set by us, and no selling or renting of your data to anyone, ever.
WHERE IT LIVES, HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Brief submissions are stored in an access-protected file on our web host and forwarded to the founders' Hexareel email accounts. Correspondence lives in those same email and WhatsApp accounts. We keep enquiry details while the conversation is live and delete them on request. Project materials follow the retention terms in your project agreement; raw footage is held for six months after delivery, as stated in our FAQ.
EMBEDDED CONTENT AND THIRD PARTIES
Some parts of this site load content from other services. When they load, your browser talks to those services directly and they can see your IP address, as with any website you visit:
Films. Our showreel and screenings play through YouTube's embedded player. The player, and any cookies it sets, load only after you click play. Instagram feed. The contact sheet on our homepage shows our latest posts through the Behold feed service. Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Hosting. The site is served by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs.
Each of those services has its own privacy policy. We don't receive personal data back from any of them.
YOUR RIGHTS
If you're in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to access a summary of your personal data with us, correct or complete it, have it erased, withdraw any consent you gave, nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and raise a grievance. Until the Act's provisions fully commence, the IT Act's data protection rules apply and we honour the same requests under them.
If you're in the UAE, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data gives you the right to access your data, request correction or erasure, restrict or object to processing, and request portability.
Wherever you are, one email does it: write to us and we'll act on any of these within 30 days, usually much faster.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change how this site handles data, this page changes with it, with a new effective date at the top. We won't quietly start collecting more than we've said here.
